The Seiko Presage Shiro Sharp Edged SPB415J1. The inspiration behind dial is the Japanese Asanoha or hemp leaf pattern, which has been used in Japanese designs since the Heian period - well over a thousand years ago. The fibers that make up the stem were originally used to manufacture fabrics. The pattern of the leaf symbolizes strong, rapid growth and health, especially in young people. The sharp geometric pattern and rich texture of the dials creates a continuously changing image as light plays across them at different angles.. Truly mesmerising and beautiful. This also recurs in the Asanoha pattern over the open heart. Every millimeter of this watch has been thought of and appreciated, as only Seiko is capable of.
