The Seiko Prospex Turtle SRPK43K1 is one of Seiko's many iconic diving watches that have garnered enough enthusiasm to be warranted a nickname. The Turtle nickname is easily explained when you squint a little bit. You can see the resemblance but also that it is actually a very comfortable, logical shape for a watch. The SRPK43K1 has a substantial wrist presence with its 45mm diameter, while also having a very reasonable 47.7mm lug to lug distance. This ensures it will also fit a smaller wrist than you'd expect, especially with the clever crown placement at 4 o'clock. Under the hood is the Seiko Cal. 4R36, which features both a day and a date indicator at 3 o'clock. Of course the watch is also very capable of dealing with the ocean, due to the 200m water resistance, LumiBrite lume, sapphire glass, ceramic bezel insert and the very legible design.
